Let's Go Back to the Bible

Signs, signs, everywhere there’s signs!

My Kelly spent part of Sunday afternoon taping Nov 17handwritten signs all over the house as a constant visual reminder of something very important to her.  Even if I had not seen her make the signs, they were obviously her handiwork — it was her handwriting and it was her birthday written on the signs.  She did not want anyone to forget her day.

Does this make you think of anything?  God spent six days creating constant visual reminders of something very important to Him.  Even though we did not see Him do it, these visual clues are obvious evidence of His handiwork.  God did not want anyone to forget Him, His power and His supreme divinity.  “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork” (Psa. 19:1).  “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Rom. 1:20).  God left signs so that we wouldn’t forget!
