Let's Go Back to the Bible

Need a good back-up plan?

With the uncertain and unexpected behavior (and sometimes complete failure) of computer hard drives, having a good back-up of your data is highly recommended.  With the troublesome weather patterns that sometimes are unpredictable, it is a good idea to have a back-up plan for potentially rainy days.  Back-up plans are good to have when uncertainty prevails.

Now, what about your faith in God?  Do you have a back-up plan?  Some people’s “faith in God” is their back-up plan.  They are living “in the world” and “of the world,” but they “believe in God” enough to make them feel good and to “cover their bases,” in case there really is a heaven and a hell.  Others might “believe in God,” but they wonder if they need to have a back-up plan, in case there really isn’t a heaven and a hell when they die.  Both of these “faiths” are useless!

Do you have a back-up plan?  Do you need one?  How strong is your faith?  How convinced are you in the certain existence, immeasurable love and eternal plans of the Almighty God?
