Let's Go Back to the Bible

Remember your Creator!

Traditionally it is believed that Solomon penned the book of Ecclesiastes in his later years, after learning life’s lessons (which gave him a special insight into the inspired words that God gave to him).  The wise man began the last chapter with these words, “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come…” (12:1).

Young people don’t realize it or even believe it, but evil/difficult days lie ahead of them.  How will they handle these difficult days when they come?  How will they ever be strong enough to handle the evil one when he comes knocking?  Here is God’s answer:  “Remember God now, in the days of your youth, before those days come!”  Look to God now!  Focus on Him now!  Give yourself entirely to Him now!  Then, when Satan tempts you to turn against God in the difficult days, it will be easier and perhaps more automatic to “fear God and keep His commandments.”

It is never too late to start remembering your Creator!  Is He on your mind, in your heart?
