Let's Go Back to the Bible

What if we had a king like this?

In many ways, we are blessed to have a President, elected by the people he serves, and to not have a King, appointed as the next heir in the family dynasty. However, what if we had a king like Hezekiah? Read only two verses about Hezekiah and then we will ask a few questions.

“Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was GOOD and RIGHT and TRUE before the LORD his God. And in EVERY work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to SEEK his God, he did it with ALL HIS HEART. So he prospered” (2 Chron. 31:20-21).

Look at the bold capitalized words in these two verses above. What if we had a President who did what was GOOD and RIGHT and TRUE before the Lord? What if EVERY work in which he engaged was for the purpose to SEEK God, and he did so with ALL HIS HEART?

Ok, this is not about our President. It is about you and your King! We have a King (Jesus!), of whom these same words could be stated. Now, here’s the key question: could these words be said about YOU? If not, what needs to be changed?
