The Bible abounds with stories about one person who made a tremendous impact on those living in his/her day and even years beyond. Some of these folks did monumental things, like building an ark for the preservation of righteousness. However, most of the accounts are about individuals who lived normal lives and just did what anyone could or would do.
For example, Jonah preached to Nineveh, and upon their repentance, they survived 150 years longer. King Josiah found the book of the law, read the book of the law and implemented the book of the law; while Judah still fell, there was a pocket of faithful in Babylon (Daniel and his friends, for example) who remained steadfast. Daniel made an impact, just by praying. Andrew made an impact, just by bringing his brother, Peter, to Jesus. And, on and on the list could go!
If you flipped through your Bible right now, you could quickly find twenty more individuals (average folks) who impacted lives around them. What kind of difference are you making?
