Let's Go Back to the Bible

It’s all His!

It is a humbling and sobering thought to spend time reflecting upon and considering the implications of Psalm 24:1 – “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.”  There is nothing, NOTHING that I can see, touch, pick up, borrow, own, sell, break or give away that does not already belong to God.  There is nothing that I can create or manufacture that does not already belong to God.

Often times we talk about how the money in our wallets is not ours but belongs to God.  That is so true!  But, have you considered this?  The credit cards next to the cash in your wallet, the driver’s license and the wallet itself are God’s.  The pants or purse in which the wallet is kept is His, too.  Even the body on which those pants or purse hang is not your own (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

As you know, the list could go on and on.  So, as you look around your office, your house, your car, your neighborhood, your streets, your city…what are you doing with HIS stuff?
