Let's Go Back to the Bible

I remembered God!

Have you ever been where the Psalmist was in Psalm 77?  “I cried out to God with my voice…In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord…My soul refused to be comforted…my spirit was overwhelmed…I am so troubled that I cannot speak.”  The Psalmist made diligent search: “Will the Lord cast off forever?…Has His mercy ceased forever?… Has God forgotten to be gracious?”  Have you ever been troubled, overwhelmed and wondered about God’s care?

How did the Psalmist overcome?  How did he find peace and comfort?  If you’ll personalize his words in your heart, you’ll find the answer:  “I will remember the works of the LORD; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.  I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds…Who is so great a God as our God?  You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples.  You have with Your arm redeemed Your people…”

Going through a tough time?  Remember and meditate on the Lord’s work in your life!
