Let's Go Back to the Bible

God is trying to do something. Are you letting Him?

The Jews were in trouble in Esther’s day.  Haman had conspired against them and was on a mission to wipe them out.  Esther’s cousin, Mordecai, brought this to the attention of Esther (a Jew), who was Queen of Persia.  The famous line from Mordecai’s message still rings true today: “Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14).  The Jews needed to be saved.  The queen, a fellow Jew, was in a position to save them.  Who knows but what the Lord had put her there at this exact time for His purposes?

Where are you today?  In what station are you in life?  Who do you know?  Who knows you?  Over whom do you have any sort of influence?  Wherever you are, you are in a position to save those around you.  Who knows but what the Lord has put you there at this exact time for His purposes?  The providence of God used Esther to save the Jews, Joseph to save his family and Philip to save the eunuch.  The providence of God is at work in our lives.  On whom might He be working, so that the gospel will be gladly received from your lips and obeyed?
