You know the song and will sing this in your head, “We represent the Lollypop Guild, the Lollypop Guild, the Lollypop Guild. And in the name of the Lollypop Guild, we wish to welcome you to Munchkin Land.” Who did these Munchkins represent? You know it! You know because they told you, but you also know because they looked, sounded and acted the part of the Guild.
Who do you “represent”? When others look at you, listen to you and watch you, who do they know that you represent? You may tell them with your words that you “represent Jesus,” but do your speech and actions support that?
Preachers represent their congregation, their family and their God everywhere they go and in everything that they say and do! May they never forget that! BUT, it’s not just the preachers! Every Christian represents their congregation, their family and their God everywhere they go and in everything that they say and do! We don’t need to sing a jingle to tell people who we represent! They need to see Jesus in us!
