Let's Go Back to the Bible

“You cannot have a Bible study in your home!”

That is what a couple was told in San Diego, California (yes, in the USA!).  This couple was having a Bible study in their home that averaged about 15 people each time.  They were eating together and then studying together.  San Diego County issued a written warning that cited the couple for “unlawful use of land,” and they were given two options:  either (1) stop having the Bible studies (religious assemblies) or (2) pay thousands of dollars for a major use permit.

I do not know all of the details surrounding this incident, and there is obviously more to this story (and any story) than what we read in the news reports.  However, the reports of this kind of activity and this kind of prohibition by a local, state or even federal government (when it gets that far) are not surprising.  Our nation is speeding down the path of removing all evidence of God and Christianity from this land.  Some time, in the not-too-distant future, this sort of thing will be coming to your neighborhood.  The question is:  what will you do? who will you serve? what price are you willing to pay for being a faithful, loyal, dedicated Christian?
