Isn’t interesting how all of the new social movements try to force their way into the classrooms? Where have the advocates of gender identity and transgenderism focused their attention? Where have the proponents stirring up racial hatred and warfare concentrated their efforts? It’s the same place that Darwinian evolutionists converged decades ago—inside the classrooms of young children, who are the most impressionable of all beings. If they can win the hearts of the young, then their cause is guaranteed long-term results.
As parents and as a church family, we must build a hedge around our children with the sound, immutable values and principles found within the Word of God! We must train our children in “the weapons of our warfare,” so that they are “mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,” that they might “bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. 10:4-5).
The souls of our children are at stake! Let’s fortify that hedge!
