Let's Go Back to the Bible

Ready to pull your hair out?

Frustrations, disappointments and anxieties come at us from all directions.  When our cup starts filling up, we know that something must be done.  But, when our cup is full and then endlessly running over, our blood pressure starts running over with it and sometimes “gets the better of us.”  So, when life’s frustrations, disappointments and anxieties intensify, what should we do?

We must earnestly endeavor to be “slow to wrath” (James 1:19).  So, how do we do that?  We must determinedly “discipline [our bodies] and bring [them] into subjection” (1 Cor. 9:27).  So, how do we do that?  We must allay our anger, rule our rage, fight our fury and not “give place to the devil” (Eph. 4:26-27).  So, how do we do that?  We must passionately “pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness” (1 Tim. 6:11).  And, how do we do that?  Faithfully “follow His steps” (1 Pet. 2:21) and seriously seek to “always do those things that please Him” (John 8:29).

Keep your hair intact by keeping your cool in check by keeping the Lord in charge!
