Let's Go Back to the Bible

“He shall direct your paths”

Sometimes you just don’t know which way to go.  There are decisions we each face in life that will alter the direction of our lives considerably, and there are some decisions that will have an impact but maybe not as much as we originally anticipated.  Which way do we go?

The first thing we need to do is pray and ask God for wisdom.  “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (Jas. 1:5).  God’s promise is that He will give you wisdom.  Then, as we make our plans, we need to do so with the mindset that says, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that” (Jas. 4:15).

Now that we’ve asked the All-Mighty and All-Knowing for wisdom, we need to trust Him! Trust Him with ALL your heart!  Lean on Him at ALL times!  Acknowledge Him in ALL your ways! And, you know the promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 when we do that–“He shall direct your paths.” We don’t know how or when, but we know He will!
