Many people have very definite opinions about their pizza. A group of teenagers sat around a lunch table voicing their absolutes — “Cheese! Cheese! Pepperoni! Hawaiian! Pineapple and 
pizza do NOT go together! Anything on it is fine except broccoli! Broccoli on pizza is just NOT right!” And the beauty of the topic allows them all to be right–at least to themselves.
But, when it comes to religion, that is not a topic that allows all of us to have different opinions and to all (with our varying opinions) be right! There is only ONE RIGHT, and God is the One who determines THAT absolute! Listen to these words: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Salvation is ONLY through Christ! Salvation is ONLY by means of His authority!
The absolute of all absolutes is the one that matters-the word of Christ alone will save us and the word of Christ alone will prepare us for judgment (John 12:48).
