During two appointments this morning, I met two different ladies. In conversation with the first lady, we figured out that her daughter had visited the services at Palm Beach Lakes with one of her friends. That made a great connection and opened a natural door for evangelism. In conversation with a lady at the second appointment, we figured out that one of the ladies with whom she works is a member at Palm Beach Lakes. Again, that made a great connection and opened a natural door to talk to her about eternal matters.
How many people do you meet who have some connection with the Lord’s church—maybe not at Palm Beach Lakes specifically, but have some connection somewhere? It may be more than you would think. Now, look at it from the other direction. How many people have a connection to the Lord’s church through you? What are you doing to capitalize on that connection and create opportunities to talk to them about matters of heavenly importance? – DS
