Let's Go Back to the Bible

MORE than ALL the NOTHING in the world

This article is going to start dreary, but stick with it to the end.  Do you have tribulation, adversity or troubles?  Are you facing times of distress, hardship or misfortune?  Have you endured persecution, teasing or mistreatment?  Are you concerned about daily food, proper clothing or life’s necessities?  Have you ever faced peril, danger or felt vulnerable?  Does the reality of death and the uncertainty of its means keep you on guard constantly?

These types of questions may seem endless, but they’re all based on the words in Romans 8:35.  Then, two verses later, God tells us, “In all these things (read those questions again) we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (8:37).  We are not just conquerors!  That would be enough!  But, God says we are MORE than conquerors in ALL these things!

How?  God affirms that NOTHING “shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:38-39).  If God is for us, who can be against us?
