When we read about Joseph being mistreated by his brothers, we see a man who made the best of a bad situation. When we read about Moses dealing with a nation of complainers, we see a man who made the best of a bad situation. When we read about Elijah facing loneliness and despair, we see a man who made the best of a bad situation. When we read about Daniel living in a nation that disdained the God of heaven, we see a man who made the best of a bad situation. When we read about Jesus being challenged, mocked and rejected (on almost a daily basis), we see a Man who made the best of a bad situation. When we read about Paul dealing with some kind of “thorn” in his life, we see a man who made the best of a bad situation.
Do you know how they all did it? WITH GOD’S HELP! That’s the only way they could! When God writes the history of your life (as He did these men), do you suppose we will see a person who made the best of a bad situation? It will only happen WITH GOD’S HELP!
