Let's Go Back to the Bible

Friends with any construction equipment?

Driving through the construction on I-95 this morning got me to thinking – there are all kinds of friends. There are the “dump truck” friends, who just like to dump on you.  There are the “jack hammer” friends, who incessantly chide you until you crack.  There are the “bull dozer” friends, who push you out of the way at times.  There are the “roller” friends, who walk all over you.  There are the “excavator” friends, who like to dig up dirt on what’s happening in your life.  There are the “pick-up” friends, who help you out whenever you need it.  There are the “cement truck” friends, who stick with you and grow more solid every day.  There are the “crane” friends, who lift you up and hold you in high regard.  There are the “concrete barrier” friends, who guide you down the right path and lead you away from danger.  The similarities are numerous.

What kind of friends do you have?  Then, consider, what kind of friend are you?  Best of all, think about the best Friend you have and how He compares to a construction site.
