Let's Go Back to the Bible

Every person needs a chance to hear!

A friend of mine was in a car accident recently. It was his fault. The couple in the other car was a bit shaken up, so after the police wrote up the report, he gave the couple a ride to the place they were going. Before they got out of the car, he said a prayer with them. Over the next few weeks, he interacted with them to make sure the insurance was covering repairs and that they were getting along ok. In the course of those conversations, he set up a Bible study with them and they were eventually baptized. This man saw two souls who needed to hear the gospel!

I thank God for this friend, reminding me what is truly important and what our true purpose in this life is! We get so busy with “stuff” that we forget to see “souls.” Every person you meet needs a chance to hear the good news of Jesus, even the ones that you “accidentally” meet and your first thought may not be on teaching the gospel.

“Holy Father, please help us to see souls who desperately need You!”
