Drive-by “shoot outs” are killing faith!
The Lord wasn’t kidding when He said, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Prov. 18:21). It truly is “full of deadly poison” (Jas. 3:8), so much so that it is killing people’s faith! It is infuriating how reckless (and intentionally reckless) unbelievers can be with 
their tongue, by spouting off lies and unfounded accusations against God, Christ, the Bible and New Testament Christianity. And, it is equally maddening how quickly and easily their words are believed!
May I suggest a very simple principle to live by? Whatever you choose to believe (or not believe), make sure that you investigate the evidence for yourself! Don’t believe (or not believe) something just because someone shoots out the lip. That’s the expression the Bible uses for the scoffers who stood around Jesus’ cross (Psa. 22:7). They were “shooting out the lip” words that may have sounded right to them (at the moment) but would ultimately condemn them.
There is overwhelming evidence (REAL evidence!) for God, Christ, the Bible, New Testament Christianity, etc.! Don’t get caught in a shoot out! Search it out! Find real truth!
