“Holy Father in heaven, I need You! There are so many things going on right now that I’m not even sure what to think sometimes or what I should do in some cases. I realize that I have always needed You, but I believe that I need Your help right now more than ever before!
“Loving Father, please help me! Please help me to be a Christian at all times, to remember my first loyalty is to You and to Your Son and to His bride, to test all things by Your Word, to treat others in the way that I would prefer for them to treat me, to help others around me to get to know You through me, to be more concerned about someone’s eternal destiny than anything else. Lord, I’m begging You to help me to not become so engrossed in the cultural and political affairs of the day that I completely lose sight of my relationship with You, my eternal soul, my need to grow, my need to serve, my need to be a light for You in this ever-darkening world.
