Those who know the internet will immediately recognize the title of this article as a website. Any time, any person, anywhere in the world can type in this address and be taken to Palm Beach Lakes website. I’m not sure how often members at PBL who have computers come to this site, but I am confident that hardly anyone knows just how often the website is visited and its great impact.
There is so much material on the site. Let me mention some of them. For eleven years, beginning in 1986, this church had regular articles in the Palm Beach Post. Almost all of these articles are available. You will also find the weekly bulletin articles for the past 23 years. There are over 500 short articles which have appeared in our church newsletter we send out three times each week. They are brief and to the point and filled with the teachings of God. The site also makes available nearly 250 lectures from the South Florida Lectureship, which has been conducted for the past thirteen years. The sermons preached in recent gospel meetings by Sam Jones, Glenn Colley, Hardeman Nichols and Phil Sanders are on the site. Those who have sat at David Sproule’s feet know his great ability to teach and preach. The website has nearly 150 classes he has taught at PBL. I know of no person who has better material than he, and who presents it any better.
Then there are the sermons preached at Palm Beach Lakes. At one time when a sermon ended it was finished, but the internet has certainly changed that. Go to www.pblcoc.org and you will find 265 sermons I have preached, nearly 50 from David Sproule, along with sermons preached by others over the years. Just to illustrate the widespread impact of these sermons, you will rejoice to know that the 265 sermons I preached at PBL have been heard to by almost 115,000 other listeners!
There is more on the site. Check it out and tell others about it. The site is changing almost daily with 30+ new items being added each month.
One other special item found there is the ability to “attend” our services around the world. Every meeting—Sunday classes, Sunday morning worship, Sunday night worship and Wednesday Bible classes are broadcast live. We know of regular listeners to the services from around the world. It is great for shut-ins and for those who live in other time zones to be part of what we do.
