Let's Go Back to the Bible

Must be tough to not know what YOU think or believe!

Rather than knowing what they think or believe for themselves, and rather than acting on what they personally believe to be true, too many individuals look to others in order to decide what they should think and what they should do.  Politicians check the polls, the media checks with politicians, teens check with their friends, parents check with their kids, employees check with their employers, citizens check with their legislators, church members check with their preachers, etc., etc.  “Tell me what I think.  Tell me what to think.  Tell me what I should do.”

Such behavior might work in the world of big business, big government and big-time lazy folks, but God calls upon us to learn to think like His Son thinks, to stand where His Son stands, to teach what His Son teaches, to defend what His Son defends, and to go where His Son goes.  This requires our own faith (Rom. 10:17), our own choices (Josh. 24:15), our own answers (1 Pet. 3:15) and our own obedience (Matt. 7:21) that is led by and fortified by THE highest and only standard for living today—God’s Word (1 Cor. 2:10-14).  Know what you believe?
