Let's Go Back to the Bible

“See my cross?”

Clothing manufacturers must be saving a ton on new products these days, as so many ladies’ fashions are requiring less and less material.  It takes no effort at all, in public places these days, for a man to see more of a woman’s body than he should.  It is in vogue for ladies today to bare more and more cleavage, leaving very little actually covered.  And, here’s the irony of ironies – some of those same ladies, who are “baring all” for others to see, have hanging from their necklace, just above their mostly-exposed bosom, a gold or silver plated cross.

Really?  What is that supposed to mean?  Here is a cross for everyone to see, which reminds me of Jesus and lets others know I believe in and love Jesus.  And, here is a clear look at that which Jesus, the one represented by the cross around my neck, said could cause a man to commit “adultery with her in his heart” (Matt. 5:28). Ironic.  Inconsistent.  Irresponsible.

Ladies, the clothing companies may be saving a ton but are you saving anything?
