King David promised faithfulness to the Lord as the king of Israel. The resolute determination which he expressed to God in Psalm 101 should be the resolute determination of every king and president today, every church leader, every parent, and in reality, every Christian.
“I will sing of mercy (lovingkindness, steadfast love) and justice…I will sing praises.”
“I will behave wisely in the way that is blameless.”
“I will walk within my house with the integrity of my heart.”
“I will set nothing wicked (worthless) before my eyes.”
“I hate the work of those who fall away.”
“I will not know wickedness.”
“He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.”
