Let's Go Back to the Bible

You are not being duped!

Many of us were taught as we were growing up, “If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.”  If the car salesman gives you an unbelievably low price, there must be something wrong with the car.  If your insurance company calls you out of the blue and lowers your rates, there must be something they are not telling you.  And the general rule that some of us have experienced firsthand—“If the ad says it’s ‘FREE,’ there must be a catch!”

So, when it comes to Christianity, folks are sometimes looking for “the catch.”  God, who knew you would sin, created you anyway for His glory.  God, who knew you could do nothing about your own sinfulness, sent His Son to bear your sins and die on the cross, because He loves you dearly.  God, who knew you would make mistakes and even intentionally violate His will, prepared a home for you in heaven, because He wants to spend all of eternity with you.

Sound too good to be true?  It’s not! Obey Him!  Serve Him!  And it’s yours!  FREE!
