Imagine for a moment that you were able to do everything that you want to do for God! Wouldn’t that be cool! Think about all of those things that you’ve always wanted to do, and imagine that in the next year (or even the next few months) you were able to take them on one-by-one. Ultimately and truly, isn’t that what all of us long to do?
So, who’s holding you back from doing everything you want to do for God? Consider the words in 2 Corinthians 6:12. In a context of openly showing love and affection for fellow brethren, Paul emphasized, 
“You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.” Paul wanted them to know that there was no one holding them back except for themselves!
Who’s holding you back? The reality is that no one is holding you back from energetically serving the Lord and showing your love and affection for Him, except for you! You are the one who will determine when (or if) you will do everything that you want to do for God! — DS
