It seems like every time you check the news these days there is a catastrophe of some kind that has taken place, often some immoral or violent activity. Pundits are quick to offer their brilliant ideas on how to solve the problems: “Make more laws.” “Take away guns.” “Do things our way.” But guess what? None of these things (or other ideas they offer) will fix the problem!
The problem (notice the singular use of this word, rather than plural) we are facing as a nation is the direct result of an expulsion of God from our land! When faith in God is mocked and evolution is praised, catastrophe will follow. When the Bible is discarded and wokeism rules, catastrophe will follow. When Jesus Christ is hated and the flaunting sinner is revered, catastrophe will follow.
The simple answer to the problems around us is to point people to God, to teach the Bible and to exalt Jesus Christ! Any effort short of that will not work! “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Prov. 14:34)!
