Let's Go Back to the Bible

The Scripture cannot be broken

“If the Scripture says something, who are you to nullify it, set it aside or deem it unacceptable?” That is basically what Jesus was asking the Jews in John 10:34-36.  Jesus told the Jews, “Here is what the Scripture says…and the Scripture cannot be broken!

Oh, how that message needs to be heard by people in our nation today.  People are saying, “Oh, marriage is an old ritual of generations gone by and is no longer necessary in our society.”  Pardon me…the Scripture says that God made marriage “at the beginning” (Matt. 19:4), that “the word of God lives and abides forever” (1 Pet. 1:23), and that “marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge” (Heb. 13:4).  And, the Scripture cannot be broken!

This application can be made over and over and over again.  When man tries to change that which lives and abides forever, may we stand up for the truth that endures to the end!
