Let's Go Back to the Bible

“See it my way”

Isn’t it interesting how some folks just cannot understand why everyone doesn’t see things the way they do? For example, some folks who drink only water think that drinking something like a carbonated beverage is shameful. Similar things could be said about vegetarians vs. meat eaters, Coke vs. Pepsi drinkers, Starbucks vs. Dunkin, etc., etc. But, I have something to share with you about these things: NONE of them really matter! Just because someone doesn’t see something like this the way that you do is inconsequential…in view of eternity.

While we have all sorts of options in this life when it comes to what we eat, what car we drive, what sports team we like, etc., we are not left with options about which God we serve, which Bible we believe, which church we prefer. When the King of kings and Lord of lords emphasized knowing “the truth” (John 8:32) and emphasized the singularity of New Testament Christianity (Eph. 4:4-6; Matt. 16:18; Acts 4:12), He did not leave us options of Gods and Bibles and churches and doctrines. Instead, we need to learn to “see it His way”!
