Have you ever been involved in a group conversation and someone in the group starts speaking for you? “Well, this is what David wants…this is what David thinks…this is what David would do…” (Insert your name, unless it’s David.) Have you ever thought, “Hello! I’m right here! Can I speak for myself, please? I’m pretty sure I know me and what I want better than anyone else!”
Do you suppose God would love to interject that same appeal? Have you ever been involved in a conversation and someone said something like, “But God wouldn’t expect me to do that… God knows what I’m going through and I know He understands what I’m doing…Right now God just wants me to be happy with who I am…” All the while, the Bible is “standing” right there! Don’t you know that God is crying out through 
His Book, “Hello! I’m right here! Can I speak for Myself, please? I’m pretty sure I know Me and what I want better than anyone else!”
Let’s make sure when we speak for God that we are actually speaking what God says!
