Let's Go Back to the Bible

“I’m sorry, but I already made a commitment!”

Person 1:  “I missed you at services Sunday night.”
Person 2:  “I’m sorry, but I already made a commitment.”

Christian 1:  “I missed you at Bible class on Wednesday night.”
Christian 2:  “I’m sorry, but I already made a commitment.”

Youth 1:  “I missed you at the devo the other night.”
Youth 2:  “I’m sorry, but I already made a commitment.”

Member 1:  “Will you be at the church activity next weekend?”
Member 2:  “I’m sorry, but I already made a commitment.”

If you are someone who “always has commitments” that keep you from Bible study, worship and church activities, can I ask you a question?  Didn’t you already make a commitment when you were baptized? Tell the world, “I’m sorry, but I already made a commitment.”
