Let's Go Back to the Bible

“I’d rather not even be around ‘em!”

She wears clothes that are just…blah.  He has big, thick glasses.  She talks with a funny accent.  He dudn’t use good English wen he tawks.  She’s always acting so proper and polite.  His hair is scraggly and nasty.  She’s got one of those jobs that only uneducated folks do.  He sounds like he’s from a foreign country.  She’s just too sweet and too talkative.  He kind of smells.  She thinks some of the dumbest things are actually cool.  He went to that other school.  She’s overweight and, to put it bluntly, a slob.  His personality is just weird.  She’s stuck-up.  He’s not very outgoing.  I just have nothing in common with her.  He thinks he’s better than everyone else.  She is so stubborn.  He just annoys me; it’s hard to explain.  She’s a bit clingy.

We all have our opinions about each other and we seem to quickly “size someone up” and make certain judgments about them.  While we are all different, there is not a single one of us who is better than anyone else.  To every person on this earth, we must “be kind” (Eph. 4:32), “peaceable…showing all humility to all men” (Titus 3:2), and “imitators of God” (Eph. 5:1).
