Let's Go Back to the Bible

Happy check

So, if you put your happy-level to the test, would you pass?  Not talking about “happy” in your relationships…or “happy” in your financial situation…or “happy” in your workplace…or “happy” in your home, etc.  Are you happy in your life?  Are you happy from day to day?

Way too often, we allow circumstances and people to determine our happy-level.  We cannot control circumstances or people (usually), but we allow them to control us.  Of course, we oft times go looking for our “happy” in the wrong places, like in things and people.  So, when you find yourself “grieved by various trials” (due to people or circumstances) and “the genuineness of your faith…is tested by fire,” up your happy-level by rejoicing “with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your soul” (1 Pet. 1:6-9).

There is an emotion that a Christian, and a Christian alone, experiences that just cannot be explained or put into words!  It is inexpressible!  It is a soul-happiness!
