Let's Go Back to the Bible

Every house is built by someone

Have you ever looked at the blueprints for a house? The complexity and detail that are given to every facet of that house is intriguing! There is a page detailing the plumbing, a page detailing the electricity, a page detailing the walls, a page detailing the roof, etc., etc. The remarkable specificity in the blueprints is only matched by the remarkable precision of the final structure.

Did you know there is a verse in the Bible which begins with this observation, “For every house is built by someone” (Heb. 3:4)? That is so obvious, isn’t it? No rational person can observe (and even scrutinize) the intricacies of a house and sensibly report, “That house just happened, as the result of chance.” And, no rational person would believe them if they did.

The rest of Hebrews 3:4 declares, “…but He who built all things is God.” While the blueprints and structure of a house demand a designer and builder, the complexity of the universe even more so evidences and demands a Designer and Builder, who alone is God
