Let's Go Back to the Bible

Ever take it out for a drive?

Two different stories:

(1)  A man went to the showroom and carefully compared the different features and prices of every model in stock.  He wanted to get the most for his money.  After making his selection and completing the purchase, he took his new beauty home and left it parked.  It remained in mint condition, as he was careful to never take it out for a drive.

(2)  A man went to the showroom and carefully compared the different features and prices of every model in stock.  He wanted to get the most for his money.  After making his selection and completing the purchase, he took his new beauty home and gave it “a run for its money” every day.  He looked forward every morning to jumping in and finding new roads he had never discovered.  After several years, the new smell and the pristine look had worn off and it was pretty much falling apart, but it still brought him great joy and satisfaction in his daily adventures.

So, which scenario most resembles the experience you’ve had with your Bible?
