So, how many doors do you enter or exit every day? There are bedroom doors, bathroom doors, home entry doors, garage doors, screen doors, car doors, glass doors, sliding doors, office doors, etc., etc. The average person probably enters or exits doors more than 100 times a day. Depending on what side of the door you find yourself is usually an indication of being inside or outside a room, building, vehicle, etc. It is not possible to be on both sides of a door.
Some religious folks believe there are multiple doors through which one may enter, in order to find salvation, peace and eternal life. However, while man sees multiple doors, Jesus said there is only one. “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” (John 10:9; cf. 14:6). There is no other door. And, it is not possible to be on both sides of the door at the same time. One has either entered into Christ or he has not; one is either in Christ or out of Christ. We might walk through hundreds of doors every day, but there is only one that leads to life. On what side of that door are you?
