Can you imagine being an Old Testament prophet and getting to tell about Jesus and all of the things that He would do before it ever happened? That would be exciting! Can you imagine being an angel and watching the plan of God unfold and seeing what the prophets foretold about coming to fruition? That would be exciting!
Brother and sister in Christ, you’ve got it better than any prophet and better than any angel! Think about what Peter said: “Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls. Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully…things which angels desire to look into” (1 Pet. 1:8-12).
What the prophets and the angels wanted to know about…YOU HAVE! You ought to be rejoicing with joy inexpressible and full of glory that…YOUR SOUL IS SAVED! There is nothing more exciting than that! Let’s live like we know that!
