Let's Go Back to the Bible

Are you really walking by faith? Really?

Christians put more emphasis on “faith” than anyone else, but is it possible that Christians are actually not putting enough emphasis on “faith”? We say that we trust God, but then we try to handle all of life’s situations without Him. We try to take on the devil and every temptation that he throws in front of us without the strength that comes from true faith. We let various circumstances surround us and overwhelm us, and then we doubt if God is even there for us.

Fellow Christian, answer this question honestly–Are you walking by faith (truly), or are you walking by sight (in reality)? It cannot be both (2 Cor. 5:7)! It CANNOT be both! If you are trusting yourself, then you are NOT trusting God! You’ve got to pick one!

“Faith comes by hearing” (Rom. 10:17). How much “hearing” and “reading” and “studying” are you doing? True faith can and will keep you from sinning (Psa. 119:11) and will help you to please the Lord (Heb. 11:6). Trust Him! He will help you (Prov. 3:5-6).
