For more than 50 years, Superman has been described in these words – “Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.” (Of course, some would wonder why he needs to leap over a building when he can fly over it.) How would you describe such a man with these “super” abilities? Superman!
Guess what? That’s you! Do you sense it? Do you know it? King David did. Before his death, David spoke these words of immeasurable faith: “For by You I can run against a troop; By my God I can leap over a wall…For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? God is my strength and power…He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places…my arms can bend a bow of bronze” (2 Sam. 22:29-35).
With the Lord as your God, you are Superman, knowing “the exceeding greatness of His power toward us” (Eph. 1:19)! “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31).
