Let's Go Back to the Bible

31 to 0

While a small minority has been making waves in this country, the ocean of Biblical values and moral principles continues to swell.  Homosexuals and advocates for gay marriage make up only a small portion of this nation, but their voice often rings louder than their opposing majority.  Thankfully (and deserving of special notice), in the 31 states where gay marriage has made it on the ballots, America’s voters have rejected it 31 times.  (I truly hope that trend continues.)

As with every decision that you make (as an American, as a spouse, as an employee, as a neighbor, etc.), God’s Word needs (i.e. must) be that which guides your decisions.  When you get ready to vote (or choose a direction) on any matter, first look for how God has voted on that matter.  Interestingly, here are 31 verses in which God plainly voted against homosexuality and gay marriage — Gen. 1:27-28; 2:18, 22, 24; 18:20, 23, 25, 32; 19:5, 7, 28; (cf. 2 Pet. 2:6-7; Jude 7); Lev. 18:22, 28; 20:13; Matt. 19:4-6; Rom. 1:24-27, 32; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; 1 Tim. 1:9-10.

So, even with God, the vote is 31 to 0.  And that vote (not America’s) is all that matters!
