Things are changing so rapidly! The advances in technology seem to have brought about advances in almost every part of our lives. Sometimes (maybe all of the time) it is hard to keep up! Where will things be 10 years from now? 20 years? 100 years? The imagination can run with ideas, but that’s all we’re doing at that point– 
imagining.
Go back 10 years ago…20 years ago…50 years ago…100 years ago… 1,000 years ago… 2,000 years ago… 5,000 years ago. Is there anything that has remained consistent? Cultures? Different! Languages? Different! Mass communication? Different! Mode and range of travel? Different! Everything has changed! Go forward (in your imagination) those same spans in years. Will there be anything that remains consistent? Or will everything be different?
Here’s one thing we do know. Go back as far as you can and then go forward as far as you can and there is ONE consistent — GOD! He is “from everlasting to everlasting” (Psa. 90:2). He is “the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Heb. 13:8). Aren’t you glad!
