I was not aware of the new show on ABC network, nationwide, available-in-nearly-every-home television until a friend mentioned it to me yesterday. I had not heard about the new show with access to nearly every U.S. home for one hour every Lord’s Day evening. If you look for the show in your guide, you’ll find it listed as “GCB.” Just those three letters. Well, what does GCB stand for? That has no meaning to the average person. Why not just use the actual words?
Every Lord’s Day, before nodding off to sleep in preparation of a new week, every American can fill their relaxed conscience with the blatantly vulgar, blasphemously vile and obscenely immoral storylines of… GCB …“Good Christian Belles.” Yet, “Belles” was not their original word. GCB originally stood for “Good Christian Bi***es” (a word still spoken by the characters in the show).
Does that make you sick? I’m not writing to tell you “don’t watch it.” I’m writing to plead with you to pray, to speak up for Christ and to never be ashamed to be called a Christian
