It seems impossible to escape the political race for President that is happening, whether it be online, television, supermarket lines or just random conversations. With so much attention devoted to it, one would think that the second coming of Christ is dependent on this election.
Let’s take a moment and consider what truly matters. After this election is over, after a new President is inaugurated, after lots of people feel victorious and lots of other people feel defeated…God will still be the awesome, almighty God! His grace will still be amazing! Jesus will still be the Son of God and the greatest friend you’ll ever find! The Bible will still be God’s inspired revelation and the lamp of life immortal! Salvation will still be man’s greatest need and God’s greatest gift! Heaven will still be a prepared place for a prepared people! Faithfully loving, honoring and serving Jesus will still be the only way to live this life!
When this political campaign is over, God will still be in charge and you will still need Him!
