Let's Go Back to the Bible

Ready for home?

How would you like to live in a place where sin cannot permeate (Rev. 21:27; 1 Pet. 1:4), where nothing is subject to decay (1 Pet. 1:4), where newness and bright colors never fade (1 Pet. 1:4), where there is no pain or death (Rev. 21:4), where there is no sorrow or crying (Rev. 21:4), where there is no night (Rev. 22:5), where there is rest for the troubled and weary (2 Thess. 1:7; Heb. 4:9-11), where only faithful Christians are permitted (Rev. 21:27; 2 Pet. 3:13), etc., etc.?

How would you like to live in a place like that forever and ever (Matt. 25:46)? It won’t be just a temporary arrangement (Rom. 6:23)! It is an eternal home (2 Cor. 5:1), from which you cannot wander or leave (Luke 16:26).

Do you have such a home? If you are a Christian, you have citizenship in that eternal realm (Phil. 3:20). Upon leaving this earthly dwelling, you will “dwell in the house of the Lord forever” (Psa. 23:6) and “always be with the Lord” (1 Thess. 4:17). How would you like that?
