It does not matter what thought you try to lay up against it, there is NO greater thought than these three words–Jesus loves me! We teach that song to our children at the very earliest age for a reason–not because the words are easy to 
remember, not because the tune is easy to catch. We teach the song because the message needs to resonate in the hearts of the child and the teacher!
You are never too old or too good to remember that Jesus loves you! He loves you so much that He died for you (John 15:13)! He loves you so much that He took your sins upon Himself (1 Pet. 2:24)! He loves you so much that He ever lives to make intercession for you (Heb. 7:25)! He loves you so much that He calls for your cares and burdens that He might bear them (1 Pet. 5:7)! He loves you so much that He has prepared heaven for you (John 14:3)!
Write these words deep upon your heart. Engrave them upon your soul. “Jesus loves me!”
