Let's Go Back to the Bible

Who did you pray for today?

James 5:16 states it rather simply, “Pray for one another.” So, do we? Who have you prayed for today?

Have you prayed for the elders of the church and their wives? What about elders of the Lord’s church all over the world? Have you prayed for the deacons and their wives? Have you prayed for the preachers and their wives? Have you prayed for those doing mission work around the world? Have you prayed for the widows in the church? Have you prayed for the Bible class teachers? Have you prayed for the young people in the church? Have you prayed for their parents? Have you prayed for young couples in the church? Have you prayed for those who are babes in Christ? Have you prayed for those who were struggling with their faith? Have you prayed for those who have fallen away from the Lord? Have you prayed for every Christian to have more boldness to teach the gospel to others? Have you prayed for members of the congregation who are dealing with various life’s struggles? Have you prayed through the church directory?

Did you let any of them know?
