Let's Go Back to the Bible

Need a H-U-G?

A handshake may be the most common greeting style today but a hug is the most meaningful. A hug comes in many different styles, occasions, durations and purposes. A hug is a warm way to say, “Hi!” and a warm way to say, “Goodbye.” So, what does that give us? A hug says:

H — Hi!

U —

G — Goodbye!

You will notice that right at the heart and center of a H-U-G is “U”! A real hug says, “You are important,” “You are special,” “You are loved,” “You are appreciated,” “You are in my prayers,” “You can lean on me anytime,” “You are hurting and I’m sorry,” “You deserve more than this,” “You are my friend,” etc., etc. Are you a hugger? Are you a huggin’ family? Are you a huggin’ church family? A hug lets “U” say to someone else, “I care about U.”
