Our society, through its media and entertainment industries, has done a masterful job of rebranding the male species today as a bunch of lazy, incompetent, selfish, stupid (and even unnecessary) losers. Turn on the latest TV show. Go to the movies. Look around you. You will see (and know) this for yourself. And, to a great extent, there are men who have fed this stereotype and bought into it themselves, doing our world more 
harm than good.
What can we do? What should we do? Or, does it really matter? The place to start is to go back to the Bible! It is entirely unpopular today to quote Scripture, but God’s Word still says, “I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God” (1 Cor. 11:3).
What do men need to do? First of all, guys, “Act like men!” (1 Cor. 16:13). That’s what God says! Second of all, look to Jesus as the greatest man who ever lived and model your life after His–“Imitate Christ” (1 Cor. 11:1)! Third, “live honorably in all things” (Heb. 13:18)!
