This congregation is truly blessed! I am so thankful that the Blackmer family has returned to Palm Beach Lakes and that Josh will be working with this church again! The excitement that has been building (since this was announced back in February) is now becoming a reality. Josh Blackmer is a great man and we are blessed to have him back!
I appreciate Josh’s heart! You will not meet a more genuine man; his love for the Lord and his love for people is evident in all that he does.
I appreciate Josh’s humility! In 10 years, I’ve never known the man to exert himself or his wishes above another. His Christ-like spirit of serving and giving of himself is so encouraging.
I appreciate Josh’s sacrificial spirit! The personal sacrifices that he made in moving his family to the mission field exemplifies a heart that is willing to do whatever it takes to win souls to Christ. Again, he is never his own focus!
I appreciate Josh’s work ethic and determination! He is a man that just does what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, in the way it needs to be done, and he’s not interested in who gets the credit.
I appreciate Josh’s love for Palm Beach Lakes! When Josh left the mission field and came back to the States, he could have (essentially) moved his family anywhere he wanted. And, of all the places he could have gone, he came back to PBL. Here’s a man who has known us and seen our “dirty laundry,” but he still wants to work with us again.
I appreciate Josh’s Bible knowledge! He is a man who knows the book. As a preacher, teacher, evangelist and minister, that’s not always a “given” quality. Thankfully, he is well-versed in God’s verses!
I appreciate Josh’s Biblical soundness! It is one thing to have Bible knowledge; it is another thing to use that knowledge as God intended for it to be used, taught and practiced. Thankfully, Josh is not interested in or swayed by manmade doctrines but is only interested in a “thus saith the Lord.”
